General Assembly

General Assembly

NSU’s highest governing body is the General Assembly (GA). The General Assembly is elected and gathers during the Summer Session. It decides on the budget and the establishment of new Study Circles. It also elects members of the NSU Board, which is responsible for running the organisation throughout the year. The General Assembly consists of two representatives from each regional group (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, the West Nordic, the Baltics and the international group) plus three representatives from each Study Circle. These representatives constitute the assembly until the following year’s summer session and may be called in for an extraordinary meeting if needed. All NSU participants can attend and have the right to address the General Assembly in order to shape the development of the organization.
